Mark Highfield, Financial Controller and Company Secretary oversees the property finance and accounting operation of the business. He is actively involved in the development of tender responses, securing of finance and/or government grants to purchase or construct properties, which is a principal BlueCHP activity enabling the Company to grow and to deliver more affordable housing to people on low to moderate incomes.
He leads:
- In the securing of finance and/or government grants to purchase or construct properties, which is a principal BlueCHP activity enabling the Company to grow and to deliver more affordable housing to people on low to moderate incomes;
- In the provision of property development finance and investment financial services for members and clients;
- Development of financial products to enable the transition to home ownership for tenants;
- Establishes best practice and compliance in all financial practice to ensure the ongoing financial solvency of the organisation and to maintain a healthy balance sheet;
- Minimises the risk profile of the organisation and its assets; and
- Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the economics and financing and investment sectors.
