By pooling their resources into one entity (BlueCHP) the Members established an organisation which has:

• a dedicated focus on expanding the supply of affordable housing;
• the ability to acquire and manage small and large property developments;
• significant financial resources;
• the ability to seek and arrange corporate finance to significantly increase social housing supply;
• the ability to recruit professional employees with the finance, property, legal and property development skills to maximise the supply of social housing;
• the ability to make effective representations  to all government departments and industry  bodies  to achieve  policies and obtain resources to  maximise social housing supply; and
• the resources to allow each member to grow but maintain their focus on managing large social housing property portfolios.
